We would like to say a massive congratulations to our vet, Fotis Grigoriadis, for gaining a certificate in small animal surgery awarded by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
Following on from three years of hard work and studying, Fotis has completed his certificate after performing multiple complex surgeries and passing his final examinations.
To achieve this certificate, Fotis had to study many different aspects of surgery, including soft tissue, orthopaedic and emergency surgeries. It also means he is now confident in managing multiple lameness cases and can happily advise on post-surgical therapies such as myotherapy and hydrotherapy.
This achievement is great for Fotis as he can now consider himself as one of Farthings ‘surgery specialists’!
Fotis said: “I am very happy to have achieved this certificate. It has given me the opportunity to manage surgical cases in an evidence-based approach.”
Having a surgery certificate holder is also great for your pets, as now Farthings can offer more complex surgeries without the need to travel somewhere further; plus we can assure you that your pet is in great hands.
Well done Fotis!
