For over 50 years we have been providing high quality veterinary care for the domestic animals of West Sussex at our surgeries in Horsham and Billingshurst. We are proud to offer a 24-hour, 365 days a year service as well as advanced care in orthopaedics and internal medicine.
We offer late evening and Saturday morning appointments to help our clients fit their pet’s healthcare around work. Our emergency out of hours service is staffed entirely by our own vets and nurses, meaning you will be seen by a familiar face and we have access to all medical records. This allows us to provide a dedicated and consistent service.
Everyone at Farthings Veterinary Group works hard to ensure that our clients and patients receive the highest possible level of care. Our veterinary team includes clinicians with a variety of special interests, and is lead by clinical director Karen Robinson MRCVS, who has been with us for over 20 years.
Our Horsham practice is well equipped with two surgical theatres, a dedicated imaging suite, endoscopes and a large kennel area for inpatients. We are proud to offer echocardiography as well as routine ultrasound and radiography. We regularly carry out a range of surgical procedures including advanced orthopaedic surgeries and have modern on-site laboratory facilities. Our trained OVs (Official Veterinarians) are able to help with pet passport procedures, rabies vaccinations and exports. Nurse travel clinics are also available for further advice.
Our enthusiastic nursing team are constantly striving to improve patient care and between them hold higher certification in anaesthesia and critical care, dermatology and exotic species, amongst others. Nurse clinics are available in a variety of areas such as weight loss, travel, dental care and more. Frances Gaudiano RVN, our trained massage therapist, conducts rehabilitation clinics and physiotherapy sessions after veterinary referral. Evening puppy parties are proving a very popular way for new owners to socialise their puppies and gain valuable advice from our student nurse, Lily Hinch.
Hospitalised animals are looked after in our on-site kennels where a dedicated in-patient nurse provides regular monitoring throughout the day alongside veterinary examinations as necessary. All our in-patients receive a high level of attention and nursing care, tailored to their individual requirements and overseen by their attending vet.
Our Healthy Pet Club loyalty scheme allows clients to access all this at discounted rates as well as receiving free routine healthcare.
